Laura Crandall, Admissions Coordinator and Business Manager

As the daughter of a Navy Captain, Laura Crandall spent her youth moving roughly every two years, attending many different elementary and high schools along the way.  This nomadic lifestyle inspired her to try to find some stability and consistency in her adult life, and also drew her to Waldorf education when she learned that a Waldorf grade school teacher travels through the grades with their class.

With a BA in German from the University of Washington, and a colorful work history that included a three year stint as a lighting technician on a stage crew and ten years as a lithographer, Mrs. Crandall entered the field of education in 2000 when she served as the Program Coordinator for Seattle Central Community College's Parent and Child Center.  Mrs. Crandall is currently enrolled in the "Administration With Spirit" certification program at Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento, CA. She joined Bright Water's Administrative staff in 2003.
