Karen Hooser, Preschool Teacher

Karen Hooser came to lead the preschool program at Bright Water after eight years at the Whidbey Island Waldorf School and three years at Pali Uli Waldorf School in Hawaii, where she worked in the early childhood programs and as an assistant in the grade school. She participated in Sound Circle Teacher Training for two years, and completed the Early Childhood course at Seattle Waldorf School in 1996. She grew up outside of Spokane, and attended school in a two-room school house through seventh grade. Mrs. Hooser especially enjoys the spiritual and social interactions in her life and as a teacher, and is the mother of two children.
