Lauren Kerr, Grade One Teacher

Lauren Kerr received her elementary education degree from Eastern Michigan University, and went on to teach in Chicago Public Schools in Illinois as well as Ann Arbor Public Schools in Michigan. After realizing how much her own teaching philosophy had in common with Waldorf education, Ms. Kerr’s path led her to Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks, CA, where she received her Waldorf Teaching Certification in May 2008. She enthusiastically joined the Bright Water community in 2008 as the teacher for the Class of 2015!
